Ascan has two types of search functions:  Individual search and Batch Search.  The purpose of having batch search is to put the whole client database into the search to avoid any new additions to the sanction databases.  Because of the similarities of the found results, the user will need to look at each result and to determine whether it is what he is looking for.  He would need to untick the “found results”.  Since he needs to do this periodically, he will repeat the same procedure again and again.

To alleviate this situation, we have devised a “Rejected List” specifically for that company.  When the user conducts the Batch Search the second time, the system would remember what he had done the first time and put the previously ignored names into the Ignored category.  That will dramatically reduce the time spent in Batch Search.
