We were presenting the CPAnywhere to a film production company two days ago.
From the meeting, we have learned that we need to further expand the CPAnywhere’s functions. They are:
A lot of works that need to be done!
For new users who need to input a large volume of past invoices into the system, this Excel File Input function will come in handy.
You just need to input the invoice number, date, line description, amount and chart of accounts charged to the worksheet, one click of direct input will do all the work for you.
Simple, fast and easy!
Last week, we have received a letter from the IRD regarding the change of the IRD 56 series of forms as well as the XML files. (This is for the inclusion of “Benefit-in-kind issue.)
You don’t need to apply for the re-approval from the IRD if you are already using the approved forms generated from CPAnywhere or MBAnywhere.
In the past, the system would automatically display client’s address on event.
Now, we can edit or add an address to an event.
The reason is that by using the mobile phone, it is easy to clip the Map button to display the exact location of the meeting.
We found some resistance in by having this option but then it does offer a lot of convenience to mobile users.
In the past, we have to go to the Prospective master maintenance to add a prospective client for tracking purpose. That will take time.
Now, we are planning to put the Prospective Client option in the Event creation function, accessible through the mobile phone.
User can just enter the new contact through the regular event creation and then create the Prospective client file automatically.
The aim is to cut down the time and to make it efficient for executives in the field to enhance their marketing prowess.

Global Search has became very hot among our users.
We are adding the search on telephone number, email address and address especially the name of a building as the search criteria.
Afterward, we will add a widget on mobile phone version called Search.
We are reworking on all of the standard reports, as well as the custom reports included in Report Builder, to include an expanded option to choose from many more criteria to select companies to print.
We have developed this one from Newsletter Publishing function and found it to be very practical.
Happy Chinese New Year!
We wish you all the very best in the coming year.
